THE ART OF HULA – Hawaiian Dance Event

Step into the world of Hula as we take you on a journey of transcendence into the heart of the Hawaiian dance. Hula is pule/prayer, on a spiritual level it is a practice and a discipline that creates an alignment with our Ancestors and all the elements in our Universe.

Join Po’opua’a Donna Manalani as we share the Essence of Hula from the island of Molokai, Hawaii. Partake in Hula ceremonies and protocols, hear the chants through oli and learn how to dance a Hula.

Event Program:

- Opening Protocols and Ceremonies - Oli and Chanting to the Goddess of Hula, Laka - Hula Demonstration - Basic Steps and Terminology - Learn a Complete Hula from Molokai - Lomilomi and Dance in the wider realm of Healing/Lomilomi

This is an all ages event. Tea, coffee and water is provided. We kindly ask that you bring your own lunch.
